Well, the crappy videos everyone mails to each other. So you see a video of some skateboard kid missing a jump and slamming his satchel into a rail? It is hilarious. So you email it to 5 of your buddies. They email it to 5 of their buddies, etc....

Now marketing weasels have figured out, with TiVo, people can zap past the commercials. So they imbed ads into these videos. As the kid is slamming his family jewels into a park bench, you see he is wearing a "Widget.com" tee shirt, Free Advertising......

There are many websites totally devoted to hosting and repeating these videos.

They spread like a virus.
