Tarzan was down a little on weight last monday. this is NOT good.

So they agreed I could get back to feeding him hard. Which I have been. Dinner last night was 12 oz Chicken Noodle soup plus 1 scrambled egg, olive oil, cheese and broccoli.

Lunch today was 12 total oz 2 scrambled eggs, a slice of to-furkey leftover, some cheese, sour cream, olive oil, and chicken broth, pureed, and tasted pretty good. PLUS 4 oz chocolate pudding.

I am gonna push the lbs onto him. yep I am.

side note, my pal Flash just finished his xmas decorations. VERY cool

Dale, the voice of reason, suggests I cool my jets, wait a year till they have the U.S. model worked out, (never buy the FIRST year sold) and? wait to see how the economy goes, before taking on additional debt, or spending savings I may need.

Dangit! the voice of reason! It's good to have them voices around.

I will focus on Mel, and van-stationwagon deal...

something I want, but was not for sale in the US? Just became for sale in the US!

Harley makes a 1200 Sportster in flat track racing trim, that is street legal. And was only for sale in Europe, but now in US.

Why Charles? Well, not that I could ride like the guy in the above video, but I really liked my old sportster. And this is a NEW MODERN. all the aesthetic and appeal of a proper flat track bike, wrapped up in a new modern package, with real brakes, real electrics, and runs well? and a warranty?

Oh, my pal Brad is a bad bad man for sending me this info.

This pal of mine, he is really smart. So we were discussing random days, and how to REALLY get a smile and some happiness worked up.

He came up with this brilliant, and I mean BRILLIANT idea.

Download songs/cds/music from the HAPPIEST time in your life, and make a playlist. Play them on your Ipod, computer, whatever.

When you hear them, you get all happied out.

And it WORKS. I downloaded a bunch of junk from the late 1970's, when I was a kid. I mean, these songs are schlock.

Delta Dawn - Copacabana - Horse with no name - American Pie - Island Girl - bad bad leroy brown - 50 ways to leave your lover - convoy - Wham Bam Shang a lang.... I mean, the junk they were playing on KFRO in 1978 when I was 14. And had no debt, no responsibility, and few cares in the world.

So yesterday I was driving home from an amazing day in the dirt, I mean, I was the fastest fat old guy out there. Jumping doubles, hanging serious air time, and laughing.

But was sad on the way home, cause I knew it was over till next week.

And I hit THE playlist. and just giggled and grins and silly feeling. listening to silly stupid music.

Anyhow, I highly recommend it.

this just in from my pal Kandan in Bangalore:

It's Different when you are Married

Three women: one engaged, one married, and one a mistress, are
chatting about their relationships and decide to surprise their men
that night; all three will wear a leather bodice S&M style, stilettos
and a mask over their eyes to see what kind of a response they get
from their men.

After a few days they meet again.....

The engaged girlfriend said: 'When my boyfriend came home, he found me
in the leather bodice, 4' stilettos and the mask.' He said, 'You are
the woman of my life, I love you.' 'We made love all night long!'

The mistress stated: 'Oh Yes! I met him in his office. I was wearing
the leather bodice, mega stilettos, mask over my eyes, and a raincoat.
When I opened the raincoat, he didn't say a word. We just made love wildly
all night long.'

Then the married one said: 'I sent the kids to stay at my mother's for
the night, I got myself ready in the leather bodice, super stilettos
and mask. My husband came in from work, fell in his mangy Lazyboy,
grabbed the TV controller and a beer, and said, 'Hey Batman, what's
for dinner?'

last Saturday, Saul and I drove up to Walnut Creek, to meet Kevin the BMW artiste, leaving the sidecar bike only, not the chair for him to work magic upon.

The goal is to clean up, make reliable, make long term viable.

He took these before shots...

no, not ours. dont know whose webcam it is, but Brad sent me the link, and it is cool

woo hooo

on my way to work this morning, I stopped for a coffee with my pal Mel. He is my main car mechanic, and a great guy. Nam vet, meningitis survivor, grew up in Marshall, Texas, fabulous singer. And he's black.

When I pulled in to his shop, he was sitting in a car he was working on, singing, huge smile on his face, and tears streaming down. It was still early, and no one else was around.

I got out of the van, and went to shake hands. Told him I was in a great mood. He said "I've fought for our country, but never did I expect to see this in my lifetime. Do you realize, the door is open now. My grandkids really CAN be anything they want. It's not just lip service anymore"

We sat and had some coffee, and it was just a very happy morning. We agreed this country has been too "mean" under a reign of "fear" with too much "hate" for too long. We have high hopes for a wonderful change, positive country, and hope for our kids.

We talked about how wonderful the Obama family looked during his speech. Beautiful daughters. There will be KIDS in the white house. KIDS! with a Puppy! Smiles and happiness. Fun, Laughter, LIFE!

We discussed how cheerful and amazed all the people in the crowds looked. the many races that make up our great country, all singing and happy and hugging. It was fabulous.

We finished coffee, and he shoo-ed me out of the shop so he could get some work done. It was a dang good morning.

So yeah, I am very happy Senator Obama will now be President Obama. And I wish him and his family good luck and congratulations. And I have renewed high hopes for a turnaround in our country. here's a treat.

well, this one is difficult to explain, but Saul is giving mad props to Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three

the recording from Rockmaster Scott is here: at about 4:25 is where the lyric comes from

But suffice it to say, it's a party song, Sollie's a party guy, and I have not taught him ALL the lyrics.....
